We were commissioned to produce a comprehensive suite of more than 150 frames for editor Joe Carnaby's documentary series on the NHS Pain Service. The series intimately followed the mental health journeys of three individuals who bravely shared their experiences. Inspired by the depth and emotion of their stories, our creative approach led us to interpret their narratives through abstract visual representations, aiming to emphasize the poignancy and challenges of their journeys.

To bring these visual concepts to life, we lit and captured the scenes from our tabletop set in the studio. This allowed us to maintain a controlled environment while ensuring that each frame effectively conveyed the emotional depth and complexity of the subjects' experiences. Through this collaborative effort, we aimed to create a visually compelling narrative that resonated with viewers and shed light on the realities of mental health struggles.
